Goldenrot

This big flower grows up to 7.0 feet (2.1 meters) tall. Its gold stem is wispy and splits into several branching stems at the top, and the tiny, orange leaves are circular with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 27 cm (10.6 inches) wide, with petals that are olive on the underside and dark grey on the top. The flower head is largely flat with many tightly layered narrow petals. They are very delicate.

It has a strong scent that smells like rotten meat, and it has very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to bees.
