Brownstem Succulent

This short cactus grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is brown, and is covered in dozens of flexible faded green spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are drab yellow on the edges and green at the center grows at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is shaped like a trumpet with 55 widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like a newborn baby.

The cactus's skin is thin, the blue flesh is leathery, and the purple sap is thin.
