Amber

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. Its orange stems grow in bunches of 7 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the giant, burgundy leaves are asymmetrical with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single tiny flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 20 cm (7.9 inches) wide, with petals that are either amber or grey, with a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 18 petals. They fall easily.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like roses, and it has very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also particularly attractive to insects.
