Emerald

This moss green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On trees, and On rotten logs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly delicate; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
