Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In rainforests, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely robust.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.
