Copper Moss

This magenta or copper moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In heathlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely sturdy.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
