Coppergrass

This average-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, copper puff.

During the early summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.
