Copper Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters) and growing as high as 690 feet (210.3 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 4 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are flat and wavy.

The needle-like, soft leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are solid grey or dark brown, with copper streaks, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of average orange flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small berries.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
The sap is pink.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
