Red

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 27 feet (8.2 meters) and growing as high as 506 feet (154.2 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 5 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The very narrow and elongated, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are either drab red or purple, with magenta streaks, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several large yellow flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of small berries.
