Silvergrass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small, gray grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, subtle green tuft.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.

Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
