Coppervine

This average-sized shrub grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 168 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has numerous flexible, crooked stems covered in hard, silky, copper-coloured bark, and the wood inside is white.

The branches trail down towards the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of tiny, pleated, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are sky blue on the sides and subtle green at the center, sturdy and clammy.

In mid-summer it produces dozens of medium-sized, azure flowers with oblong shaped petals. They fall easily and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cotton.
