Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This large creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 280 feet (85.3 meters) and growing as high as 112 feet (34.1 meters).

It takes 2 years for the gray or brilliant blue stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1.2 feet (36 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The thin, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are copper and caramel, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of tiny black flowers.
