Copper

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 504 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, straight trunk covered in smooth, copper-coloured bark, and inside, the light wood is burgundy.

The excessive amount of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with large amounts of fuzzy, miniature, thick leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are generally indigo.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, black seed pods.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with clear space between them.

The bark is frequently covered in moss.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
