Crimson Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 29 feet (8.8 meters) and growing as high as 338 feet (103.0 meters).

It takes 21 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The V-shaped, waxy leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are crimson and brilliant blue, and have smooth edges.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for making strong rope
