Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its pink-red stem is very thin, and the small, green leaves are thin with toothed edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
Two giant flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with solid copper petals and a dull purple central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 petals. They fall easily.
It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like candle wax, and it has a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
