Silvergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This average-sized, silver grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are light and frail and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, dark yellow flower.
During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of tiny grains.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
