Copper

This massive flower grows up to 13.2 feet (4.0 meters) tall. Its copper stem is very thick, and the tiny, lime green leaves are sickle shaped with ripped edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Each stem splits 3 to 8 times; a single tiny flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 97 cm (38.2 inches) wide, with dark grey petals that gradient shift to bright green on the outer edge. The central disk is silver. The flower head is shaped like a cube with 50 tightly layered, narrow petals. They are very delicate.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like cheap aftershave, and it has an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to bees.
