Caramel Flower

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. Its emerald stem is very thin, and the miniature, caramel or peach leaves are 8 pointed with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Each stem splits 3 to 9 times; a single tiny flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 29 cm (11.4 inches) wide, with solid bright red petals decorated with caramel lines and a caramel central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 petals. They are very delicate.

It has an intensely strong scent that smells like alcohol, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.
