Copperleaf

This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 9 feet (2.7 meters) and growing as high as 818 feet (249.3 meters).

It takes 7 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are flat and wavy.

The pleated, crispy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are cream and slate, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thousands of average florescent green flowers.
