Colorburst

This short flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its brown stems grow in bunches of 4 and are very thin and straight, and the large, pink-red leaves are light grey on the underside and are wide with irregular edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Around 60 medium-sized flowers grow in bunches along the stem. The flowers are 11 cm (4.3 inches) wide, with alternating petals of drab orange and sky blue, with an intense purple central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 curved petals. They are very delicate.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like misty mornings, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
