Copper Creeper

This big creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 247 feet (75.3 meters) and growing as high as 68 feet (20.7 meters).

It takes 18 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The fan-like, soft leaves reach up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) in length. They are found in blood red, vibrant green and dark grey varieties, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces balls of tiny black flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces lots of large berries.
