Aquamarine Succulent

This large leaf succulent grows up to 73 feet (22.3 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is bronze, and is covered in large amounts of flexible vibrant yellow spines. The knobbly leaves are solid aquamarine with beige zig-zags. Small amounts of them grow on very thick, green branches that are very short and thin. The leaves are frail, but take little effort to detach.

It is very slow growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are lilac at the sides and magenta at the center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 42 raised, narrow petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like fermented fruit.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the gold flesh is waxy, and the drab green sap is thin.
