Copperbell

This small flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its copper stem is thick and splits into dozens of branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the giant, aquamarine leaves are thick with irregular edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Each stem splits 1 to 5 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with bright green petals on the lower layer and sky blue petals decorated with brown dots on the inner layer. The central disk is bold blue. The flower head is shaped like a trumpet with 4 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They are sturdy.

It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like a man, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to bees.
