Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In damp forests, and In heathlands.
It is enormous, growing up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very light.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
