Ambervine

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 134 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of sturdy, crooked stems covered in very thick, knobbly, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is burgundy-brown.

The branches are very short and thin with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of giant, long, narrow, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are solid green with azure zig-zags, light and frail and smooth.

It produces thousands of tiny, amber flowers with sickle shaped petals. They detach easily and have a delicate scent that smells like a newborn baby. In early winter it forms smallorange, shelled seeds.
