Violetgrass

This big, violet grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, gold tuft.

During the early summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.
