Cyan Spine Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 46 feet (14.0 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is copper, and is covered in hundreds of rigid pale blue spines. The tattered-edged, circular leaves are cream on the sides and cyan at the center. Thick bunches of them grow from the base in a random bunch. The leaves are soft and flexible, and take little effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with petals that are generally sky blue; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 10 petals in raised layers. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like pot-purri.

The leaf succulent's skin is tough, the pink flesh is smooth, and the silver sap is thin.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
