Azurebell

This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its vibrant blue stem is very thin and splits into several branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the huge, copper leaves are perforated with ripped edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single small flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are azure at the sides and gold at the center. The flower head is shaped like a heart with 7 tightly layered, narrow petals. They are hardy.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like damp, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.
