This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 28 feet (8.5 meters) and growing as high as 40 feet (12.2 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 3 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The finger-like, soft leaves reach up to 7 inches (18 cm) in length. They are olive at the bottom and turquoise with light grey edges at the top, and have toothed edges.
