Copper

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. Its slate and olive stem is thin, and the tiny, lime green leaves are umbrella-shaped with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Around 70 medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with copper petals and a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a mildly strong scent that smells like old shoes, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.

It comes in 15 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It blooms only at night.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
