Blue Teardrop Moss

This blue moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In damp forests.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely tough.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores.
