Moss Green Apple Bloom

This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its emerald stem is thin and straight, and the miniature, moss green leaves are dark pink-red on the underside and are very thin with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

5 to 8 medium-sized flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of white. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of 20 widely spaced, narrow petals. They are very delicate.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like apple, and it has a fair amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator and is ignored by most insect species.
