Copperleaf

Flower type: Perennial (Evergreen - keeps its leaves all year round)

This colossal flower grows up to 8.0 feet (2.4 meters) tall. Its yellow stem is wispy, and the small, copper leaves are white on the underside and are slender, pointed with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Each stem splits 6 to 10 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 92 cm (36.2 inches) wide, with petals that are azure on the edges and lilac at the center. The flower head is made up of 9 petals in raised layers. They are hardy.

It has a weak scent that smells like coffee, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.

It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
