Emerald Succulent

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 70 feet (21.3 meters) tall. The very thick stem is lime green, and is covered in sharp spines. The pebble-like leaves are found in brown, light green and magenta varieties. Small bunches of them grow on wide, emerald branches that are very long and thin. The leaves are resistant, and do not detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 22 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are generally bronze; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grows at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of several petals in raised layers. It has a strong scent that smells like grass cuttings.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the yellow flesh is slimy, and the azure sap is thin.
