Purple

Shrub type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This large shrub grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 190 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has numerous stocky, curved stems covered in wrinkled, brown-green speckled bark, and the wood inside is burgundy-brown.

The branches trail down to the ground that and are covered with thick bunches of large, finger-like, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are pastel purple and vibrant orange, frail and rough.

In mid-spring it produces balls of small, olive flowers with perforated petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a delicate scent that smells like roses.

All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
