Caramel Conifer

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This large shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 122 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has many wide, angular stems covered in delicate, ridged, yellow bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.

The branches are short stubs that and are covered with large amounts of huge, thin, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are caramel with copper tips, light and crispy.

In late spring it produces thick bunches of small, green flowers with kidney-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a powerful scent that smells like musk.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
