Burgundy Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In damp forests, In moorlands, and In rainforests.
It is huge, growing up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly rigid; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
