Crimsonactus

This giant cactus grows up to 138 feet (42.1 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 2 wide stems. Each stem is yellow-green, and is covered in lots of rigid orange spines.

It is quick growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with alternating petals of olive and blood red, with a bronze central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is shaped like a sphere made up of dozens of widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like citrus.

The cactus's skin is thick, the crimson flesh is soft, and the blue sap is thin and causes upset stomachs if consumed.
