Copper

This short cactus grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 3 fan-like stems. Each stem is copper, and is covered in many flexible bright yellow spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are purple at the sides and indigo at the center grows at the top, reappearing once every 4 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 curved petals. It has an intense scent that smells like skunk spray.

The cactus's skin is tough, the hazel flesh is slimy, and the dark brown sap is thin.
