Olive Tail Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This big, green grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, olive tail.

During the early summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
