Burgundy Grass

This short, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in thick clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, pink tuft.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.
