Orange Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainy mountain ranges, and In marshes.
It is giant, growing up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very flexible.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
