Coppergrass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short, cream or red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in large clumps that are sturdy and flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, copper flower.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.

Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
